The connoisseurs of excellent cars could observe The 2013 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 Cobra with 850-horsepower at Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. It gained a lot of attention as it was built to honor Carroll Shelby. But that night Shelby American presented one more special Mustang. It was a prototype of forthcoming 2013 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 Super Snake.
We had an opportunity to see Ford Mustang Shelby model several weeks ago. But the recent images give us a hint about its almost complete development. Shelby American keeps the details in secret, but we can predict that the car will have some ideas from the company’s reckless 50th anniversary design. The maker of the car also speaks about the incredible discharge of Super Snake.
There will be many upgrades. But the most expected one is a new engine 5.8-liter V-8, which is made up of aluminum. It will also have cross-drilled block and heads. That’s why Super Snake is going to be the most potent model V-8 all over the world. And we shouldn’t forget possible modification created by Shelby American, which will make this car a real beast.
Among all modifications there will be an adaptable suspension system, a Whipple supercharger, 20-inch forged alloy wheels, a great exhaust system and new brakes with six-piston calipers up front.
We can observe a lot of other new modifications from the images. Among them are: a new front splitter, fabricated from carbon fiber, a brake cooling package, a hood with heat extractors as well as billet aluminum badging. As for inside modifications there will be leather-lined seats, a white ball short-throw shifter, custom door sills and a three-gauge cluster.
Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 Super Snake is still under construction, looking forward to the debut. It is just the right time for looking at more photos of this splendid car.
