The 2024 Ford Mustang will be available in a new color option called Blue Ember Metallic

Three fresh exterior colors, namely Yellow Splash Metallic, Vapor Blue Metallic, and Blue Ember Metallic, are added to the upcoming 2024 Ford Mustang. The Blue Ember Metallic shade is a glimpse of the new Mustang Dark Horse's exclusive color scheme.

Paint code E1 is assigned to Blue Ember Metallic, which is one of eleven options for the all-new Mustang's exterior colors. Here's the complete roster of available exterior colors for the 2024 Ford Mustang, along with their respective paint codes:

  • Grabber Blue Metallic (AE)
  • Atlas Blue Metallic (B3)
  • Rapid Red Metallic Tinted Clearcoat (D4)
  • Shadow Black (G1)
  • Dark Matter Gray Metallic (HY)
  • Iconic Silver Metallic (JS)
  • Carbonized Gray Metallic (M7)
  • Race Red (PQ)
  • Oxford White (YZ)
  • Vapor Blue Metallic (new for 2024) (K1)
  • Yellow Splash Metallic (new for 2024) (RH)
  • Blue Ember Metallic (new for 2024) (E1)

The trim levels available for the 2024 Ford Mustang are as follows:

  • EcoBoost
  • EcoBoost Premium
  • GT
  • GT Premium
  • Dark Horse
  • Dark Hose Premium

Finally, the following list shows all available interior colorways:

  • Deep Indigo
  • Black Onyx
  • Space Gray
  • Emberglo
  • Carmine Red

Blue Ember Metallic is only offered on the 2024 Ford Mustang Dark Horse and is not an option for the EcoBoost or GT trims. To have this color, the Dark Horse Appearance Package must be installed, and it can only be paired with the Deep Indigo interior color. The Tarnish Dark High Gloss/Shadow Black painted stripes are the only hood stripes that can be combined with Blue Ember Metallic, as previously noted by Ford Authority.

The 2024 Ford Mustang Dark Horse uses a tweaked variant of Ford's 5.0L V8 Coyote engine that can deliver 500 horsepower and 418 pound-feet of torque, making it the most track-ready and street-legal 5.0L V8-powered Mustang ever produced. The term "Dark Horse" does not relate to the car's color but rather an old saying that describes a little-known but successful rival.
