Rumors surrounding the 2013 Ford Mustang lineup have been circulating for some time, pointing to a facelift and increased performance across the range. Reports have also suggested that the Shelby variant could deliver up to 570 horsepower, raising the stakes against rivals like the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1.
Now, new details about the 2013 Mustang Boss 302 have surfaced online, indicating that the track-focused model will receive several technology upgrades.
Among the most notable additions is a 4.2-inch LCD display integrated into the instrument cluster, similar to the unit found in the Ford F-150. The car is also expected to feature Ford’s SYNC infotainment system, along with the MyKey driver-assist program, HID headlights, and an updated graphics package inspired by the classic 1970 Boss 302.
Since the Boss 302 was only recently introduced, no major mechanical changes are anticipated. It will continue to deliver 444 horsepower and 380 lb-ft of torque—figures that already place it firmly among the top performers in its class.
