With Ford already reviving the Boss nameplate, speculation naturally turned to other legendary Mustang variants. Could the Bullitt and Mach 1 make a return for the 2013 model year?
Some imaginative renderings attempt to answer that question, offering a glimpse of what these iconic models might look like if brought back to life. In one interpretation, the Bullitt is envisioned as a subtle, style-focused upgrade, featuring a revised front fascia, a blacked-out grille, hood vents, dark-finished wheels, rear window louvers, and the signature Dark Highland Green paint.
The Mach 1 concept, on the other hand, takes a more aggressive approach. Inspired by the 1971–1973 models, the rendering includes classic NACA hood ducts, bold black graphics, rectangular grille-mounted lights, a redesigned front end, and a prominent black rear spoiler.
It’s important to note that these designs are purely speculative and not based on any official announcements or confirmed plans from Ford. Still, they offer an exciting look at what could be possible—and leave plenty of room for enthusiasts to imagine the return of these legendary Mustang names.
